All the hard works, sweat, and going home late are all paid-off. Before anything else, we thank God for guiding us. And also thanks to our leaders Charella Gonzales, Jillian Valenzuela and Kc Isabela for the Choreograoher. Also to me and my block for cooperating all through the way. Woooh! Congratulations TM151!!!
11. Speak Sense
Speak sense is a program for an Inter-high school public speaking competition that was held last November 27, 2015 at the Auditorium and made it possible by the ERC Faculty and APC Speaks.
It is important to SOM students like me since it's our ENGLISH TERM which will help us to be a great public speaker. Being a good public speaker takes more practice also courage and perseverance.
They are 10 participants came from different schools who give their best in delivering their speeches. They're speeches is true to life which all of us can relate. There comes a time were on the point of crying because of their personal experience speeches like in life and love.
10. Plagiarism
Copying in someone else's work, words and ideas as your own is an act of plagiarism. Plagiarism is also means using someone's work without giving any credit. In some students, it becomes a serious problem because when they feel lazy that's the time they will attempt plagiarism and copy from the internet.
I know it is much easier to get some information but make sure you get information to study a certain topic not copying the whole topic. Plagiarism is also a form of cheating. Like using one's own idea or expression of an idea or work of another in any academic examination or term test or in connection with any other form of academic work. It's an obvious against the rules.
9. Media Literacy
"Mobilizing the Millenials as Socially Responsible Prosumers" seminar on Media Literacy was held last November 25, 2015 at the Auditorium with the speakers Ms. Edmallyne Remillano, Ms. Jan Meynard Nualla, and Ms. Lian Nami Buan.
The seminar talked all about different issue topics. First on "How to write stories effectively?", Second about "Social Issues", Lastly "The role of media and Advocacy Journalism".
One thing they leave us is the 3 roles of media: to inform, to educate and to entertain.
This seminar help us to open our mind and eyes on how to be responsible to use media.

8. Traffic
Traffic is compose of public and private vehicles and when the large number of vehicles hit the road traffic jams will happen.
We are all having a hard time when we are going to school
and office because of the traffic. Short distance or long distance takes a long
time because we always get stuck in traffic and that’s what makes people get
easily fly into a temper. It’s an obvious waste of time.
Traffic is also the reason why the numbers of car accidents
are increasing because reckless drivers change lanes too fast because they are impatient.
Also the increasing number of cars results in the increasing
need of parking lots that also creates traffic because some cars are parked in inappropriate
way or in the road way that’s why it cause small spaces in roads.
But how to lessen and prevent those? Simple we should ban private cars and lessen the selling of private vehicles.

6. Parasytes
Parasyte is an anime adaptation Japanese film.
The story tells about the parasites that invading mankind's brain but the creature fails to reach Shinichi's brain and the mutant creature that takes control of Shinichi's right hand is an alien parasite. The creature, who is called Migi (“right” in Japanese) becomes eager to learn about humans and the way they live.
I am very new to this story and didn’t know it was a popular comic series and cartoon before director Takashi Yamazaki turned it into a live-action film. The film is surprisingly gory and it's disgusting because it has a lot of blood splattering here and there. But the film is an interesting mix of science fiction and horror, and an entertaining film. I'm looking forward for the second part because that is surely something quite spectacular.

5. Ang Tatay mong Kalbo
October 9, 2015 (Friday)
with TM151 family!
The setting and the concept was cool and the said story was kinda' frustrating and it makes me think more deeply because it shows nonsense scenes but I know it has a deep meanings.
Mr. and Mrs. Santos always disagree with each other's perspectives. They shout with each other and they always argue where in fact they are both wrong. While, Mr. and Mrs. Reyes is very attached with each other. No quarrels and they talk with each other peacefully. They're the exact opposite of the other couple. And the Hepe which was portrayed by our block mate Joshua Dave Beredo who loves to kill fires and Maria the housekeeper who is attached to the Hepe.
Actually, I didn't get the point of the story at some point, there's no sense in the story just what the Hepe told when they asked him what is the moral lesson in his story "Ang aso at Ang Baka" he said "Problema niyo na yan!" and when the Hepe asked Mrs. Santos "Kamusta na nga pala ang tatay mong Kalbo" and her reply was "Ayun suklay pa rin ng suklay.''
4. Turn Left, Turn Right
Turn Left, Turn Right is a 2003 Malaysian movie
Life is full of surprises; even two parallel lines may one day meet. John Liu (Takeshi Kaneshiro) is an aspiring violinist and Eve Choi (Gigi Leung) is a professional translator whose true passion is translating love poems. They live parallel lives and appear to be perfect for each other, but somehow fate seems to keep them apart.
The day we're going to watch this movie. I was late and I'm having a hard time to catch up but I manage my time to watch the movie. After I watched the movie, all I felt is "kilig" and annoyed as well because they are already in the same place but still they won't see each other and they're living in different units of the same apartment building and separated by one thin wall but still they never meet. And when they leave, one turns left, and one turns right. How frustrating isn't it?
Life lesson is we don't need to rush things and if its bound to happen it will, if its not, then let it go. Just wait and trust God, It will be worth it.
3. Cheers and Chants 2015
October 7, 2015: The SoAB's Cheers and Chants 2015.
Theme: The challenges and opportunities in building the SoAB student.
That was our 1st competition and we're the 1st runner-up!
All the hard works and all the arguments because of the noise, the heat and the hunger are totally paid off. Even though we're not the Champion but we're still grateful because we got the 1st-runner up!
I will never forget this moment because all the problems and struggles, we became much closer than before and it makes me happy because we become as one team and family.
I know this is just a fresh start of our friendship. Congratulations again, TM151 family!

2. Heneral Luna
Mr. John Arcilla is portraying Heneral Antonio Luna.
A 2015 Filipino historical biopic film depicting General Antonio Luna's leadership of the Philippine Revolutionary Army during the Philippine-American War. It shows to us the American colonization and the battle between Filipinos and Americans and also how the Filipinos betrayed the Filipinos.
The first time I watched the trailer, It's quite interesting and when I already watched the movie all I've said is, "WOW!" The combination of history and comedy as well that made it more fun to watch unlike those other historical movies which is boring.
Thumbs up for this movie and for those people who made this movie possible!
1. Self Introduction
I was named “Bien” because of my father “Bienvenido” and the other half “Velyn” was preferred by my mother to make it unique and not mainstream and it makes me more special because of it. I was born on January 1 1998.
This is me when I was 1 month old
I'm their baby since I'm the eldest.
I’m grateful because I’m surrounded by people who love me and I live life to the fullest because I’m blessed because I am now 17 and still living the beautiful life that God gave me
I’m blessed to have my parents because with them I have chance to study in Asia Pacific College in Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management.
As a young teenager, we’re already facing a lot of problems but I’m the person who hides so many problems in life but still smiling despite of it. I really have a strong faith in God because without him I can’t do everything with him who strengthens me and I get easily attached and really attached to people especially to my family, friends and to those people I’m comfortable with.
I’m not really into sports but I like to swim, surf, hike, play volleyball, badminton and basketball etc. I want to travel around the world because I want to discover so many things like different places, cultures and traditions. I love to take pictures of places, things, foods and me as well and it makes me productive when I post it on social media.
Follow me on instagram for more: @bienvelynns
I'm not that serious about my studies but I’ve got goals and my only goal in life is to graduate in Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management because when I was a little kid I started to dream to be a flight attendant. Lastly, I want to have a stable job because in that way I can repay my parents for all the hard works they did for me.
